What Click charges
Two fees, both visible, no others. Nothing upfront, no monthly fee, no licence fee, and nothing at all in a month where you sell nothing.
Per sale
10% + TSh 20 of every package a customer buys.
On a 1,000 TSh daily bundle that is a small share taken at the moment of sale; you never invoice it, and you are never billed for it separately. What lands in your balance is already your share.
Per payout
TSh 150 flat, each time money is sent to your mobile money number.
Flat means flat: the same whether the payout is 5,000 TSh or 500,000 TSh. This is the cost of the mobile money disbursement itself, not a percentage of your earnings.
Why the payout fee is flat, and what to do about it
Because it does not scale with the amount, fewer and larger payouts cost you less. Ten weekly payouts cost ten times the fee; one monthly payout costs it once.
If your site earns steadily and you do not need the cash weekly, monthly settlement keeps more of your money. If you are using the income week to week, take weekly and treat the fee as the cost of that. Change it any time under your settlement schedule; it applies from the next payout.
Seeing it on a real sale
Transactions shows every sale with three figures:
- Charged to customers: what they paid
- Click's fee: what we took
- Yours: what went into your balance
They always add up. If you ever find a sale where they do not, tell us, and send the reference.
Click Hotel is different
The Click Hotel licence is bought once and outright: no revenue share, no per-guest fee, nothing monthly. Guests are already paying for a room, so nothing about their WiFi meters them again. See Licences and tiers.
The fees above still apply to anything you actually sell. A lodge giving guests free WiFi in the rooms and selling bundles in its bar pays nothing for the first and revenue share on the second.
