Activate your box
One code, typed once. That is the whole setup.
1. Get your activation token
In Click, go to Devices and press Add Click OS (or Add a device if you already have one).
Accept the terms. Click issues a token and emails it to you.
It is shown on screen once. Copy it there and then. It is also in your email, so it is not lost if you close the page, but do not rely on reading it off the screen later, because you cannot.
2. Power the box up
Plug your internet line into the port marked for it, and power the box on.
Give it a minute to start.
3. Connect to it
Connect a phone or laptop to the box, over its WiFi or by cable to one of the other ports.
4. Paste the token in
Open the setup screen and paste the activation token.
That is the only thing you ever type into the box itself.
5. Wait for it to check in
Within a minute or two the device appears under Devices in Click, marked online.
Everything from here on is done in Click. You will not need to open the box again.
If the token is lost or stale
On the device in Click, press Resend / reissue.
The old token stops working immediately and a fresh one is emailed to you. That is deliberate: a token that has gone astray (forwarded, screenshotted, left in a WhatsApp group) must never still be usable.
If the box does not appear
Nothing after five minutes. The box cannot reach the internet. Check the internet cable is in the right port and that the line itself is up; browse from a laptop on the same line to be sure.
It says the token is invalid. It has already been used, or it has been reissued since you copied it. Press Resend / reissue and use the new one.
It says the token has expired. Same fix. Tokens do not last indefinitely, on purpose.
